A preschool curriculum built around the alphabet and creation

God’s Wonderful Design walks preschoolers through the creation week, one day at a time. Each unit starts with what God made on that day in Genesis 1–2. It then follows the theme through the rest of Scripture: from light to Jesus, the Light of the World; from water to the living water Jesus gives; from the seventh day to the rest we’ll have with God in heaven. Children learn that God made everything with purpose, that He’s in control of it all, and that He made them in His image and loves them.
The lessons were written and taught at Forest Park Church in Crowley, Louisiana. Each one is ready to print and teach.
Every lesson includes:
- Big Truth: one simple sentence that carries the main point
- Teaching outline: a talk-through script in short, kid-friendly lines, with Scripture printed in place and teacher tips for object lessons and hands-on moments
- Memory verse sheet: a printable page with the lesson’s verse
- Activity: a game or craft that reinforces the lesson, with instructions and any printables
- Music: suggested songs, linked to videos, that fit the lesson
- Coloring sheet: a themed page to color with the verse on it
- Snack time (optional): our class adds a snack each week, and you can too
